Does this sound like a false positive for ?

Alright so i'm 16 and ive suffered from chronic yeast infections and never got them treated by a doctor, well i would go in and they would tell me to get the creams and what not but anyway it got really bad and turns out i had a UTI, a yeast infection and BV. well i finished all the medications they gave me which was a gel, an antibiotic, and a yeast infection pill. a few days after i was done taking all that i noticed little red bumps kinda where your leg and crotch meet and down torwards my . i didnt think anything of it cause i figured it was razor burn or just a reaction to all the meds. well a few days later i was touching them and they kinda felt bubbly so i went in the bathroom and they were like little tiny clear bubbles. so i popped all of them and clear fluid came out and then they pretty much went away except it looked like after you pop a really bad ant bite and its still red. i went to the doctor the next day and she said shes 90 percent sure its not , doesnt look like , and the way i described my symptoms it didn't sound like , but i made her do a swab anyway. well low and behold i got a call yesterday and it turns out its positive, but for some reason i'm just not buying it. ive been with the same guy for 6 months and he didn't have , but he probably does now oooops lol. But doesnt this kind of sound a little fishy ? or am i in denial? Also if it is , when am i contagious, what medicines are they going to put me on, and how often do you think i could get an outbreak?
