Should I move out of my parents house? Going in the army?

I am going to join the army within a month of two..depending on how long it takes for my minor misdeamenor to be expunged and for me to receive a copy of my DD 214 (used to be in the navy reserves..received administrative discharge under honorable conditions..don't know my RE Code). I want to move out but i'm not sure if I should just wait until I can go in the army or how is it going to work? Should I pay rent for an apartment while I'm at basic?
