Ps2 controller as keyboard?

i'm trying to play COD4(pc version) with my ps2 controller but i can't because the game doesn't support controllers. I remember there was a software with which one can emulate the controllers as keyboard . Can any1 plz tell me what was the name of the software? btw i played RE4 with that a yr ago and it was quite good.
