How should I do my prom makeup?

I'm getting it done at clinique for free because I'm not very good at evening makeup. I know the lady doing my makeup will know what to do but I want to go in with an idea of what I want. I have blue eyes, fair skin, some freckles, dirty blonde hair. My dress is red with silver sequins...what would you think I should do with this description?
