What do I do? counterfeit check scam?

I have already been talking to my bank and they said to go file a police report and I did, it will be ready as of tomorrow. I deposited the checks last week and my accounts were frozen on Saturday I would have gone then if I new what was going on. I am very upset right now being that I got scammed and I am usually more up to things and I was naive on the situation. the only good part about this is that I haven't sent them anything I had to wait for the check to clear before I could send anything to them. I just don't know what to do from here. any advice would be helpful. I had no Idea they looked real and one cleared then it went on hold I don't understand.
