Should I sell my horse?

I think I already know the answer and just need to be talked into it! We have 4 horses - too many for our small place, really, although we keep them well fed. Two of them came to us free and as a total surprise - they are lovely Dutch Warmbloods. There is a lady here in town who would like to buy the mare (who is my sweetheart) for her pony club daughter -- BUT I don't really ride anymore (I'm heavy and out of shape and a little scared). I do some training with her (really enjoyed getting her past a fear of being bridled and unbridled - that was some hard work! I think she'd been hurt by the bit at one time and was really scared) and adore her, but I guess she'd be better off with the pony club girl. The problem is that I really don't like my husband's two geldings - one is nippy and mean, and the Warmblood is very big and high spirited so I don't even enjoy working with them. My daughter WOULD ride this mare, but she has a horse of her own that is her "main" interest. *sigh*

It's horrible. But somehow you get through it. The best thing to do is focus on some positive changes you can make in your life to give you something else to feel happy and exicted about. If they dumped you, you need to feel good about yourself, so new clothes, new hair, drinks with friends, going dancing and getting some flattering attention from strangers all helps. Your message is a bit ambiguous though, so if they died or left for some other reason I'm not so sure. I still think it's important to focus on your self, but it will take a lot more grieving as well.

Is it just me or is there a stereotype that type 1 diabetics are overweight? I have a 1970 cutl s 350cui..3 years go I replace the gas tank ,beacuz it was leaking. i replace it with a brand new one it came with 2 vent holes, the original did not have no vent. so i cover both vents, there 's no were to hook it up. i take my car for a ride 20 minutes later my car dies i call a toltruck to pick it up and i notice under the car my gas tank was suck in so it crush my sending. so to make it work for little while i put a hose from the vent to the front the front or the car to charlcol canister. but it built so much pressure that come out of canister allot of gas. i cant figuired it out!!! please help

I have dry scalp type dandruff...?

I have very nice long, curly red hair and it looks great when I don't wash it for a couple of days and let the curls lock up nice and tight. The problem is I have dry scalp type dandruff and it is very embarring when a girl is admiring and touching my hair and also the flakes falling from it. I use head and shoulders shampoo for dry scalp and it works but only if I use it everyday, I don't like to wash/comb it everyday because it looks like a puffy afro and never gets a chance to lock up. It seems that my scalp refuses to produce any type of oil and likes to shed dead skin cells and make me itch, does anyone know any remedies that could help dry scalp type dandruff besides washing it everyday (washing everyday isn't good for hair anyways). on 4/16/2007 i was arrested and charged with grand theft although the officer and loss prevention stated that on the video i didn't take any merchandise i was with an ex friend of mine that was stealing i separated from her and went on my way and before leaving i purchased my items that i grabbed and saw that she had an overnight bag that looked full i didn't say anything about it.. i continued to purchase my things and as were walking out officers showed up since it was over $600.00 dollars of merchandise that was in the bag officer s stated that we both had to get booked...i was put on probation for two years with an adjudication withheld and was also terminated a month early am i able to get it expunged or at least sealed and will it show up in a background check????????? and what exactly does adjudication withheld mean?????ive been trying to get some research on it and always comes to dead ends.....my manager has been trying to promote me to an istant manager position and ive refused twice already and explained to her why...ive changed my life completely around im a part time student Single mother with a part time job and trying hard to better my life for my kids and really need some good advice im stuck if anyone has something that can help me out please respond....thank you

350 turboglide transmission any good?

I have a GM automatic 350 turbo glide transmission that has been sitting for about 6 years. I got it with the engine I bought sbc 350. I dumped a bunch of money into the engine in a rebuild/upgrade and want to possibly install this into my 62 Impala. What are the chances of this being any good? The matching engine only had about 60k for mileage. I'm tapped out on funds for a bit and wondering if this is worth installing without a rebuild. Of coarse I would do a fluid and filter change.

I'm 18 and I've been with my wife for about 4 years but we've been best friends since I was 7 and we've known each other since I was 4, I guess. My mother in law used to like me a lot when we were friends. When we started dating, she tried everything she could do to keep us apart. She would "forbid" us from seeing each other, got my wife transferred from all my cles in high school, and even went as far as to introduce her to other guys when we were fighting. My "dear" MIL told me that I was good enough to be her "little friend" but not enough to be her man. My parents has hated my MIL since the beginning so they didn't want us together either. Our parents have done some incredible things to get me and my wife to break up, but they did not succeed. My wife ended up getting pregnant. It was a total accident, but I wanted to be there for her. When she was 4 months, her parents went ballistic. They told that she couldn't see me anymore and that she couldn't keep the baby. Every time I went to their house to see her, they would the cops and say I was tresping. I hated these people so much. I couldn't even be involved in the pregnancy because of them, and my parents wanted me to act as if my wife didn't exist. As if their grandchild didn't exist. Me and my wife ended up going to another state for a few days so we could married without their permission (I was 17 and she was 16). We thought now they would accept our relationship, but they didn't. They still kept us from each other. It was even harder after I graduated. I go to a college close to our city, so I saw her several times a week. Once our daughter was born, we both just absolutely adored her. Her mother brought in this woman from an adoption agency. I told I wasn't signing over my rights and she said that she didn't care and that I wasn't going to get to raise my daughter. I wanted to f***ing hit her. My wife was hysterical so security had to get everyone out of the room. Later that night, she called me and said that they had been pressuring her into adoption for months and she's afraid that they'll take the baby and that they sent her to live with her grandparents. I mean, they physically forced her into a car and drove her there (and their house was in the middle of nowhere). I went over there everyday. I was going to give them hell if they thought they were going to give our baby away. When my daughter was a week old, me and my FIL got into a fight in front of the house and the police were called. When they came my MIL, that b****, said that I was a stalker and that I d her daughter. I called that b**** every name in the book. It was the first I realized that no matter what, they were never going to accept me. I told the cops that they kidnapped my child and they were keeping her hostage in that house. Me and her got into this screaming match and the police told her that they couldn't keep my baby from me, so that b**** brought my daughter outside and said take it. It?! Really?! I called my wife, got directions to where she was and picked her up. Her grandfather tried to stop her from leaving but he's like 70 or some s*** so that ended quickly. Now the three of us live in my apartment (that was a month ago). Her mother calls, everyday saying that she will make her come home, me go to jail, and make her give up the baby. I just don't get it. We both go to school, we both work, we both take care of our child, so why are these people so f***ing evil. My wife doesn't turn 18 for two months, around graduation and we live about 45 miles from our evil parents so can they can they really make her go home?

Can an IUD give you a false reading on a pregnancy test?

Took a pregnancy test yesterday, now that im 2 weeks and a few days late for my period - And it was negative, okay great but i have ALL the symptoms as i did for my first two kids, -really tired, heartburn (i haven't changed my diet), certain smells make me sick, pain/crampiness just above my pubic bone, horrible queeziness in the am, etc.I was only with my hubby June 12-June 23 we're apart cuz of his work (yeah we had unprotected , alot.) Ive had the mirena iud in for 11 months and i have read that some women stop getting periods after a year with the iud. Im hoping thats my case but with all the other symptoms Im starting to get worried, and if the test says negative I should just believe it, I mean what im asking is - When is the best time to test? I thought it was anytime after your missed period. The 1st day of my last period was may 29. When should i retest, and if its negative i'm in the clear? I will see a dr asap but i wanna know now with at home tests.Thank you in advance

Prostatitis/CPPS - Treatment and Symptoms?

I've got a chronic pain in my prostate region. Sometimes the specific area of pain moves to different areas, such as down into my thigh, but the pain is always on the right side. I occasionally have a discomfort in the tip of my , like a chafing feeling. It's not sore to the touch, and goes away after several days. Blood tests are clear, it's not STD. My first doc(GP) thought it might be epididimitis, and I've been on Cipro, Zithromax, and Doxycycline, but nothing fixes it. I had a testicular ultrasound which was clear. The urologist diagnosed porstatitis and prescribed Avodart, which I've been on for over a month now, while continuing Doxycycline. The pain comes and goes, but never goes away completely. Muscle relaxers and ibuprofen provide little to no relief. The question is, are these symptoms common for CPPS or Prostatitis? What other medications or treatments can I try? Could it be something else? Any suggestions (other than go see another doc) would be greatly appreciated!!

Beagle mix medicine question?

Gave my beagle the recommended 2.0 mg of Xanax (Alprazolam) to sedate her enough to clip her and trim her nails (which is becoming increasingly difficult as time goes by.) She STILL panicked......fought like mad, even though she was uncoordinated and sleepy appearing. Let loose with her glands, wailed, cried, fought, snapped....obviously it was NOT enough. I first saw Shutter Island, back in February of last year. Martin Scorcese did a fantastic job with it. It truly was a wonderful suspense/thriller--with a touch of film noir. But Christopher Nolan's Inception is a masterpiece. I was thinking to myself in the theatres as I was watching it "who could ever top this!?" So yes, definitely, Inception is the movie to watch, Shutter Island also a must see. Wanted..eh, I wouldn't p up the opportunity to watch it, but I really don't have much of an interest to see it. We have a neighbor in our middle cl neighborhood that has been collecting junk for the past years. and it has gone to far, the stuff he keeps collecting is by far stuff that belongs in the dump ranging from old sports bleacher beat up and wrecked cars to boats that would never float because of huge holes in them. not only does it bring the neighborhood down it is also attracting rats and other rodents. also the neighbor hood cats keep killing the rodents and littering all over the neighborhood im scared one of the neighborhood kids might get ahold of one of those rats and possible get sick also these old cars are leaking oil all over the property which is getting in the soil and possibly seeping into the well water. this is a very bad hazard and the neighbors have called our local code enforcement and no action has been taken. but they drive through our neighborhood complaining if our car is park to far from the curb or if it is backwards. and just the other day the tore down the neighborhoods kids bmx jumps they worked so had on in a empty field they told us they got a complaint from the guy that owns the house. im complaining about funny how they will react to his complaint but no one else's. my question is if code enforccement wont do there job what would be my next step? all im asking is for the trash to be removed so the rodents will go away.

Alright so i'm 16 and ive suffered from chronic yeast infections and never got them treated by a doctor, well i would go in and they would tell me to get the creams and what not but anyway it got really bad and turns out i had a UTI, a yeast infection and BV. well i finished all the medications they gave me which was a gel, an antibiotic, and a yeast infection pill. a few days after i was done taking all that i noticed little red bumps kinda where your leg and crotch meet and down torwards my . i didnt think anything of it cause i figured it was razor burn or just a reaction to all the meds. well a few days later i was touching them and they kinda felt bubbly so i went in the bathroom and they were like little tiny clear bubbles. so i popped all of them and clear fluid came out and then they pretty much went away except it looked like after you pop a really bad ant bite and its still red. i went to the doctor the next day and she said shes 90 percent sure its not , doesnt look like , and the way i described my symptoms it didn't sound like , but i made her do a swab anyway. well low and behold i got a call yesterday and it turns out its positive, but for some reason i'm just not buying it. ive been with the same guy for 6 months and he didn't have , but he probably does now oooops lol. But doesnt this kind of sound a little fishy ? or am i in denial? Also if it is , when am i contagious, what medicines are they going to put me on, and how often do you think i could get an outbreak?

Hello there, my hubby and I found out I was pregnant with my first baby a few days ago. I'm only 4 and a half weeks and so it's still very early days. I have been having intermittent period-like cramps although these seem to be reducing now. I'm also have lower back pain, swollen , tummy and occasional queeziness! I just feel like I could come on any minute! I'm just so, so, so terrified that something will happen to the pregnancy. no u don't have to wait for teeth. either puree meats and veggies like in baby food jars or chop it up real fine and let him gum the meats to get used to chewing. i would puree meats separately from the veggies so u can introduce them so that if they cause an irritation u know what food is doing what. like allergies. say if u give him beef, potatoes and peas and he has a reaction then u can take out one and see what is causing a rash so it is best to intro one new food at a time wait a few days and proceed with the next. whatever u have for dinner u can feed him if u puree it first as long as it isn't too spicy. talk to the doctors about finger foods to help the teeth break through the gums but watch him while he has food so he doesn't choke. especially on the finger foods. good luck

My mechanic friend tells me that 'gunk' had got into it which stopped a vital cog engaging with the starter motor. A bit of a hit with a large spanner in the right place was a short term solution. Nice car to drive, but I recommend getting a newer one to avoid reliability problems (mainly avoid mk2s that haven't had the clutch replaced already).

FWD Focus to RWD or AWD?

i have a 07 focus ST it is a 2.3 Liter with a 5 speed transmission. i seen where they made a v8 focus RWD its called a Focus RS i think but anyway i was wanting something different and the RS are all hatchbacks and i have a sedan so i thought it would be really cool but i dont want to have to buy a whole new engine so i was just wanting to turn my motor long ways in the engine bay and put a rear axle in it. but i read somewhere that it is easier to make a FWD to AWD that would be cool too but it doesn't matter which one i convert to they both would be different. i thought for a RWD about getting an axle and suspension out of an old mustang but I'm not sure if any of it would fit. For AWD I'm not sure what i would have to do. I have seen where they sell conversion kits for the V8 RWD but i don't want to spend that much money that is why i would prefer to keep my 2.3 four cylinder motor. my friend's baby is almost 5 months old, fed and does not poop. She gives him apple juice and even after that he can't poop. You can tell he is trying hard, but all comes out is gas. When he finally poops (like once in four days) his poop looks more like puree, not liquidy fed baby poop. Is it normal? My friend is not sick and does not take medications or so. Read the manual that came with your stereo...since it is satellite ready, it should have a SID# which is about 14 digits long.These numbers are the numbers that are required for your Satellite provider (XM or Sirius) to go through your car stereo with out any equipment. It will come out on the display of your stereo which you can write down and give to the satellite provider. Since your stereo is satellite ready it should have all the functions of a basic satellite...changing the satellite station, etc. For those operations you will need to read the manual. I need some advice on shaving.?

I find it impossible to get a close smooth shave with any blade I use. I've tried everything from Gilette Mach 3 to those Daisy women razors and nothing seems to work. If I shave with the grain it doesn't even look like I've shaved and when I shave against the grain I get bad cuts and razor burn no matter what shaving cream I use. I've started using a shving gel for sensitive skin and that hasn't helped at all. I also try to shave after taking a hot shower but that doesn't seem to make a difference either. I have light skin and dark facial hair which doesn't help the situation at all. Any ideas to get a good shave?

Can I file a complaint against a realtor that is selling a home for citimortgage?

That realtor has had my realtor and myself negotiating for about 4 mos over a house. I made a higher offer that what it was selling for. When i had it appraised,which cost me 350.00, it only appraised for 66000. The realtor would not accept the amended contract unless we agreed on using one of his friends as an appraiser. This whole time they had agreed to pay closing costs and let me fix a couple of issues that my bank asked to fix prior to giving me the loan. Once his friend appraised the house (which i had to pay for again, 320.00) the house magically appraised for 75000, which I was fine with but know he is saying that they are not paying closing costs and I can't do the fixer uppers since it's a liability for them. He made me waist money and time. Really bad razor burn no matter what- HELP!?

I have used at least 5 different types of razors, from moisture strips, to original, to 2-bladed, to 4-bladed. I lather on a lot of shaving cream, I have used a few different bar soaps. I even get the shaving cream for sensitive skin! I have tried soaking my legs so it's easier for the razor to glide across & I don't push it hard against my skin. Afterwards, until my legs get hair again, I have really bad bright red razor burn all over my legs! I wait a couple hours after shaving to put on cocoa er/shea er lotion on. This only seems to help slightly though. Any1 have any tips? Please! I would highly appreciate it! ^_^

Yes, it could be the cause. I have dry eyes myself and I have periodically experienced star bursts, halos, and light sensitivity. For me, they occur when my eyes are especially dry after a long period of inactivity and my eyelids start sticking to my eye. I have to be very careful when I blink. Eye drops do help but you have to keep taking them. This is not something that is likely to go away by itself.

Husband wants to work out financial problems?

My husband decided in March to separate -- I was left to support 3 kids and all the pets and all the bills (plus his $5000 debt) on my own. I just bought a used 75G acrylic tank with a built in wet/dry system, but it didn't come with anything but the tank! I know wet/dry provides great filtration. I am doing a planted freshwater tank and I also know I should add a mechanical filter to pull out debris and decaying plant material, polish, etc,... but what do I put in all those mysterious chambers in this wet/dry system? I ume some sort of sponge material should go someplace, then I need what? Bio ? I heard green plastic toy soldiers work well, but I think that must be just a charming aquaria myth. The man I bought the tank from said he just used plastic bath scrubbies from the dollar store. I am no stranger to aquaria. I have had tanks for over 30 years. But this is my first time at bat with wet/dry and it is on a tank with some crazy compartments on the back and it came with no instructions. Once I buy a pump and watch it go I'm sure I will figure it out. But I am wondering what media works best for you? The only thing I would add is a humidifier in case the air is too dry. I use a cool mist one. Air purifiers seem to be trickier to choose than they should be. Some only act as dust filters and some claim they do more things to your air than seems possible. I use a purifier with a washable permanent filter - sort of like that Oreck thing they advertise on TV. It certainly catches dust and cat hair but whether it does more - who knows? My Siamese had asthma but not as severe as your cat has. We did the prednisone bit but were never really satisfied with it either. Good luck.
